How long does it take?

Each piece is engraved to order in the US in 3–5 business days, then ships in 2–5 business days. Hair jewelry ships separately from our fulfillment partner and arrives in about 1–2 weeks.

What is it made of?

Stainless steel, in polished steel or with an 18K gold finish. The bar is 1.4 × 0.4 inches on an adjustable 16–22 inch cable chain with a lobster clasp.

What can I engrave?

Up to two lines on the back, 20 characters each, in a flowing script. Names, dates, "from Mom", a nickname. The live preview on the product page shows exactly how it will sit.

How do I keep it bright?

Take it off to shower or swim, keep it away from perfume and abrasives, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Store it in its box.

Can I return an engraved piece?

Engraved pieces are made just for her, so we can't take them back unless they arrive damaged or engraved differently from your order. If that happens, contact us within 30 days and we'll remake it. Unworn hair jewelry can be returned within 30 days. See shipping and returns.

What's the letter?

A free extra. While you engrave, write her a short note and we'll make a private link. When she opens it, a sealed letter unfolds with your note and what's engraved, so the gift starts before the box arrives. See a sample.

What's the keeper register?

A place to record who gave you your piece and when, so its story stays with it. Add yours.
